+DcCow
I'm researching caches in the San Antonio area for our holiday there this fall. This cache says "This cache has temporarily been relocated to THE 2006 TEXAS CHALLENGE" but not disabled or archived. I've come across quite a few of these that have been temporarily relocated to the Texas Challenge. Looking at the last log - it was in April 2006, it is now July! My question is it there or isn't it? +DcCow
It's dead, Jim. If it is dead - then it should be archived. I wrote the owner a couple days ago, but so far no word. It sounds like a cool cache, hoping to be able to do it - but would be nice though to know if it is where is suppose to be! BTW who is Jim? Link to comment
+Ambrosia
I'm sorry if I appeared to be snarky. This is a big contraversy that flared up last month.....maybe someone else with better search skills can pull up a link to a thread for you. Link to comment
+Miragee
That was probably another one of those "relocated caches" similar to this one that caused such an uproar in these Forums a few weeks ago. Sometimes cache owners didn't even bother to Disable their caches when they took the container to the Event. So people in Texas were logging Finds on a cache, while people in Florida who were looking for the cache where it was supposed to be, were logging DNFs . . . Link to comment
