Changing Batteries

Recommended Posts

I know a lady that had a similiar problem with her Garmin. Everytime she took the batteries out she lost everything in the memory.

It turned out the the lithium(?) battery that is built into the unit to give enough electricity to hold the memory had gone bad and had to be replaced.

Take the unit back to where you bought it and exchange it for another. You may have just gotten a bad one.
