If it is not, check with the person who dropped it off in the cache, it could have been left as a gift for the next finder. That's what I would do. Also, make sure that you entered the right numbers or letters. Sometimes an O is a 0, a B is an 8 and so forth. That happens quite often with the microscopic numbers or letters.
