I Need Detailed Advice

Hello everyone,

 

I have purchased 3 Garmin GPS's and am looking to sell my oldest, a GPS V.

 

I would like to be able to offer some mapping software if possible, that is where my request for advice comes in.

 

My GPS V was part of a deluxe package, which included City Select 4.01.

 

Since then I have purchased a 60CS and City Select upgrades for versions 5 and 7. I recently purchased a 60CSX and had to purchase a new unlock code for City Select 7 since you can only unlock 2 units per unlock code.

 

So I have 3 units registered to me and City Select 7 is available to all three. I did talk to a Garmin tech who said that I could let them know when the unit has been sold and give the buyer the information so that the unit could be registered in their name, not mine any longer.

 

How can I handle the software licencing piece, or will I be forced to sell the unit without City Select 7?

Ask Garmin what your options are. They control the licensing.

I was wondering what kind of price you would be looking for for the unit. I love that one. (V) Let me know of the price would ya. I don't have a lot o money but I still am interested.

Sorry, I didn't get your email. Shipping costs would probably be $10-13 for ground and escalate quickly from there for faster shipping. What state would I be shipping to?
