geotreky
I downloaded 5 caches and would like to import/open them all at once to upload to my 60C...can this be done. Mapsource only seems to open one at a time. How do you guys handle this? Quote Link to comment
geotreky
Just downloaded GSAK and found that you can zip them and then open the zip file with GSAK and then save it as an MPS file for Mapsource...or just upload them from GSAK. I would love to hear about anyone elses "workflow" as I'm still new to this. Quote Link to comment
+Miragee
Here are some helpful software links. When I first started, I used EasyGPS to handle my waypoints, but then I became a Premium Member so I could get Pocket Queries, which contain up to 500 caches. Now I use GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife) to manage my waypoints. You can Export from GSAK in the Mapsource format. Here is a little rudimentary GSAK tutorial. Quote Link to comment
Neo_Geo
Rather than downloading each cache waypoint separately, use the geocaching search page (CLICK HERE). Search by zip code, nearest to certain coordinates or whatever. Then go through and check the caches that you want to download and then download them. They'll all be contained in one file which you can open in MapSource! Quote Link to comment
emariu
In Mapsource yo0u can select all the caches (e.g. waypoints or even tracks) and then copy them(ctrl+C) then close the file and open Mapsource with the other cache file you have then paste(ctrl+V) then save as a new file...and so on Quote Link to comment
