Historic Caches

I have a bookmark list of historic caches here a bigger UK bias would be great as i get emails from arround the world on this list.

So any proposals would be greatfully accepted !

It's pretty obvious to me from the very first one on the list!

 

They're obviously landmark caches...Montana's 1st, England's 1st, Europe's 1st, etc.

There is a big difference between the meaning of "Historic" and the meaning of "First".

 

If what is being asked for is more UK firsts, then this wasn't clear to me.

However English Heritage only want me to use a nano for now at the site. Would that put people off going there?

Make it a multi, and put the coords in the nano, that way everone is happy

How about Winchester HCC Event (& Evening BBQ for cachers) (19th July 2003) believed to be the Worlds 1st outdoor Geocaching event with live remote internet connection via satellite available on site.

Excellent idea - will look into it. Now to find a location that can hide a bigger cache...

Forget the Multi idea, stick with the traditional , - if necessary I'll take Pharisee out and help him find it (actually he's pretty good at locating Micro's and Nano's - I've been out with him and can testify to his skills . )
