+yoopers
We are hosting a CITO event (GCVN68) and have more prizes than we anticipated Does any one know of a few games that are geocaching related that we could do instead of just drawing names out of a hat? There will be the usual mix of ages attending. Since it is being held this Sat. 5/20/06 so we would have to set it up in a hurry. Nice problem to have. Quote Link to comment
+Groovy Cachin' Dude!
I always love the ". . . who traveled the fartherst/shortest to the Event?" or ". . .who trashed out the yuckiest item; and be able to prove it!" Quote Link to comment
+The Geocache Hunter
You could do CITO related a scavenger hunt. Depending on how much you know about the area and type of trash you expect to find you could give points for trash items (pepsi can, candy wrapper, styrofoam cup, etc.) and maybe some natural items that can be picked up without disturbing the environment (feather, pine cone, certain stones, etc). +Henki
You could award a prize for who bags the most trash. Quote Link to comment
+Team Shydog
We have a local cacher here in Indiana who has a very sought after geocoin, when there was a local CITO event he hid one of his coins under a piece of trash. Whoever picked up the right trash got to keep the coin. Everybody was out looking and picking up every piece of trash. If coins are part of the prize package, you might try that idea. I also like the scavenger hunt idea. Edited May 18, 2006 by Team Shydog Quote Link to comment
