+MeBaz Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 It would be nice if there was a way to set the location portion of the pocket query to home. I always have to go look up my home coords first. I am already telling geocaching.com my home coords so why not have a button or way to say make it from my home coords?
AZcachemeister Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 Good idea (brought up before). Why isn't your zip code good (close) enough?
+darus67 Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 I've often wondered why this feature is not included in PQs. They have the "search from home coordinates" link on your account details page. Why not in PQs? It seems like an obvious feature.

+MeBaz Posted May 16, 2006 Author Posted May 16, 2006 I just like my queries to be exact. That is why I dont use zip codes because some areas are bigger than others.
+Lasagna Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 Use the newest PQ feature ... "COPY" I have one "template" PQ that I keep that has all the typical checkboxes set and my home coordinates in it. When I want to make a new query near my home, I just pull up the PQ summary page, click COPY on the template query, and then modify the contents as appropriate.
