To all you Explorist users that have the Li/Ion battery. Princess Auto have Motorola T720 batteries that are a direct replacemant for the Magellan battery for $4.95

Not quite sure, I came across the battery info on gpscentral.ca while looking at the explorist 600 there was a link for an independant review.

I'm always weary of Ebay, but I generally use it for "finding" stuff like those chargers.....

 

the only good thing about ebay?....if you can't find it there...it probably doesn't exist! :rolleyes: (jest!)

 

they are good for product searches.....and I only buy once I feel confident that I won't get "Ebayed"

 

.......after 3 months! I still can't commit to buy a $1500 camera lense.....

I bought one today. I think it is the right one is it a 3.6V Lithium ION Battery and thinner than the original? And will it work in the explorist 400? Thanks

If it's the thinner battery, you may need to put a piece of foam into the battery compartment to make sure it doesn't move around so that the contacts...stay in contact. See this topic for more info about battery model number and capacity.
