cad-guy
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I know there are lots of map users here. Has anyone seen an online map, that will allow me to select a center radius point, and then draw a 300 mile (or whatever) raduis on the map? Thougjt google earth might, but couldn't do it. Just curious. Quote Link to comment
+PDOP's
I don't know of any online map that will but it is a feature in MS Streets&Trips. Quote Link to comment
+Prime Suspect
I don't know of any online map that will but it is a feature in MS Streets&Trips. I use the Google Maps APIs, plus the XMap Library to do this on-line. I just give it a radius in feet, meters, kilometers, or miles, and it draws it around a waypoint. But I don't make it available to the general public, since I don't want license limit issues. Example, here's the Washington Monument with a 250' radius circle drawn around it. I imagine there are some open home-brew Google maps that do the same thing, since it's fairly easy to implement. A Google search might turn some up. Quote Link to comment
+reveritt
Is it really necessary to draw a radius? If you are trying to set up a puzzle, etc., it might be possible to do what you need mathematically. Quote Link to comment
