DAD-DONT-GET-US-LOST
Do they make a cord for the yellow etrex by garmin? It looks like if they do it would be a funny looking end? How much do used cords run? Anyone have one? Edited February 1, 2006 by DAD-DONT-GET-US-LOST Link to comment

+jiminpotomac
I use EasyGPS to download .gpx and .loc files (coordinates) as well as routes and other waypoints directly to my etrex Legend. Downloads the GC**** naming convention from the geocache's .gpx or .loc file into the etrex (this will be the name of the waypoint). Link to comment

You have to have some type of program to download the coordinates into your GPSr wheather it be Mapsource, GSAK, EasyGPS etc. Using one of these programs and the data cable provided in the link will make it much faster to enter waypoints using whatever name you want up to 6 characters.
