+briansnat Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 If its cheifly for boating Rec Lakes is nice. I'm not sure how memory intensive it is however. Some mapping programs like City Select, Metroguide and City Navigator chew up a lot of memory and aren't appropriate for the Legend. I'm not sure if Rec Lakes falls into this category. I also noticed that Rec Lakes only has data for some lakes - major ones and the rest look no different than they do on Topo. If you just want to see the lake and aren't worried about depth, etc...
