RakeInTheCache
Apologies if this is a redundant post. I can't search the forum now due to a technical issue. I was noticing that when I view my travel bug maps, some of the caches the TB has visited do not show up on the map. Is this a software bug? If so is it on the "to do" list? +StarBrand
Just a guess but are the missing ones archived caches?? Link to comment
The Leprechauns
Or caches that were never published, so the cache owner had to retrieve their container and hide the bug elsewhere? Link to comment
RakeInTheCache
http://www.geocaching.com/track/map.aspx?ID=195438 Cache number 2 is missing. It's an active cache. Link to comment
The Leprechauns
Could it be because the two caches (2 and 3) are close together (.2 miles apart) so that the box for #3 is covering up the box for #2? Link to comment
RakeInTheCache
Very good theory. I see the travel distance feature was just turned back on and cache 2 and 3 are only .2 miles apart. I'm wondering if there is a better way to represent the caches that would allow both 2 and 3 to show up on the map. Also, it looks like travel lines have been discontinued. I thought they were kind of nice. I noticed that before there would be some breaks in the lines. Edited January 24, 2006 by RakeInTheCache Link to comment
