Contacting Other Users

As it is now, if a user doesn't choose to show their email address, you are given the option of contacting them through the site. I think that's a great option, and I just wish we could still do it even if the user chose to reveal their email address.

For now, if the user chooses to reveal their address, you are simply presented with that address and expected to email them if you want to contact them.

But what if you don't want to email them?

A good example of this is when someone you don't really know sends you a message through the site. If that person is sharing their address, your two options are to ignore them or email them, revealing your address.

Hi

As far as I know you can still click on the email address as given in their profile page and contact them using the Geocaching.com form. At least that is the way it works for me.

Ahh, what Jamie Z said :D
