+Whittling Fisher Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Hey. I am thinking about getting a map product from Garmin so I can navigate in new cities. I was looking at their webpage and wasn't sure what the difference is between City Select North America and City Navigator North America. I am planning on using this with a Vista C or Legend C. Thanks for any help. Quote
+Klatch Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 One complaint in the satellite-nav newsgroup is about the very large map segments in CN V7. If you have a GPSr with limited map memory you cannot load maps along a route because one segment will take up all the memory. It also would not allow you to have another map set loaded for the same area - such as Topo US. I think City Select V7 would be better for the Vista C or Legend C. Quote
CenTexDodger Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Just to clarify. City Select is designed for handhelds whereas City Navigator is for mounted auto units. As was said, City Select is what you need! Quote
