+Airmapper Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 I'm not a premium member, so I can't see what's happening with Waymarking. What is it all about? Will non preimum members be allowed to participate? I've picked up bits and pieces about it, but still don't know how it works.
WH Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Waymarking.com is the new home for locationless caches and will eventually replace virtuals too. It's currently only open to premium members because its still in early beta. It will be opened to all as soon as the new processes are ironed out.

I'd encourage you to sign up for a membership ($3 buys you a month) so you can read all about it over there. Discussions of Waymarking in general belong over in the Waymarking forum, so I am closing this topic. Discussions of how Waymarking will affect existing features of the Geocaching.com site are on-topic to either the General Geocaching Topics forum or the Geocaching.com Forum, and there are several threads which do just that.
