Eric and the kids
Hello I will stay for 2 days in Brierley Hill for business purposes. During my evenings I plan to do some geocaching in the area. As I live in Germany I have no access to the UK cache search facility. Can someone send me some waypoints of caches in this area. I will stay ovenight near the Copthorne shopping centre and I would be very glad if I would be able ro find my first cache in UK. Thank you very much for help. Eric and the kids ( in this case the Kids will stay at home ;-) ) Quote Link to comment
naffita
Try a search on the postcode, DY5 1UR, is the postcode of Copthorne Hotel, Merry Hill. You should be able to find a few caches that take your fancy. Quote Link to comment
Eric and the kids
Thank you for answer. Yes indeed I will stay at the Copthorne Hotel but on which site can I enter the UK postcode to retrieve caches in the area? As wrote I a can not use the geocachuk.com site as I am not member of it. +naffita
It's on GC's seek page. Enter the postcode in the top box, and it returns This page. Quote Link to comment

Mr Nibbler
It's worth buying a 1:25,000 Ordnance Survey map of the area. The one covering this area is Explorer 219 and is available in larger stationers and bookshops (WH Smiths usually carry them). Should cost you around £7.50 and well worth every penny. Although it's 16 km from where you're staying, if you have a car with you, GCG0QK Park Lime Pits is a nice little cache. Quote Link to comment
GAZ
You could use the Geocaching.com/search/ page and enter 52.48412 / -2.11642 in the degree/decimal search facility....shows 3714 caches in a 100mile radius! Hope you have a good time caching in the UK. GAZ Quote Link to comment
