+BlackstoneVal
A single waypoint for a National Park may have varying meaning such as Visitor Center, Trail Head, Camping, Scenic spots, Interpretive signage, passport cancellation station, but I doubt that any one set of coordinates would define an entire NP. May work for some of the other units, such as National Historic Monuments. In the USA, there is an expanding amount but countable number of NPS units and affliate area. I think each official one could be an individual subcategory under National Park Category (with distinct categories for other nations, such as Parks Canada) with its own listing moderator. Then each could have many individual waypoints of interest. Just a thought. Link to comment
