+WhatsRNutts
me and my significant other are trying to figure out what to bring with us. I know, it s a BIT early to start packing but I just what to know. this is our first event so...what do you usually bring with you other than the usual camping/geocaching stuff? i really need to get a dictionary! +The Leprechauns
Bring a *big* supply of signature items, or other trade items representing your area. This will give you something to exchange with other geocachers from around the country. Personalized sig items are the best. Folks also get into the "Woodstock" spirit by decorating their vehicles, wearing tie-died t-shirts and so forth. In the month before the event, concentrate on picking up travel bugs in your area that need a big lift. Since people from all over the country (and a few foreign countries) will be attending, just about any bug can move towards its goal. The above advice applies to ANY major event cache.
