I am planning to visit my brother in the US and wanted to bring my GPS, and Laptop along. My Question is, can I download the Base Map from the Rino into my computer/MapSource Software? The Rino built in Base Map covers all of North and South America, where as my Metro Guide Canada only has a portion of the US. Thanks, Circle of Confusion Quote Link to comment

Neo_Geo Posted July 24, 2005 Share Posted July 24, 2005 (edited) Third strike! That idea is OUT! THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE: You could get a hold of MapSource WORLDMAP and install it! I'm pretty sure the US portion of those maps is the same data used for the basemap of the eTrex Legend, and the entire US takes about 16MB. It's going for about $50.00 on eBay.
