Z15
Only problem is it will not be around for long. It is only back 3 ft from a 10 ft high bank dropping off into Lake Superior, Made it all the way from 1981 to 2005 but likely will be gone by 2010. MIDDLE USLS 1871 Quote Link to comment

Z15
I found this in less than 10 min once I got to the site. My GPS (Garmin Vista) put me within 3 ft. I was standing on the bluff looking around when I turned to gell the breeze from the lake (95°) today and saw the piled stones and the stone post in plain sight. Then I had to find my way back to my ATV becuase I left the camera about 800 ft away in the truck. How did I ever get along without an ATV? I would have spent a lot of time hiking if not for that. Its a shame this will soon go into the lake, no way it will survive as the bank its undermined as it is. I had to he carefull not to fall 10 ft onto the soild sandstone rock shoreline. I kept hoping it would not cave in with me standing there. There would have been no way to get back up the bank as the shore runs for miles like this. Quote Link to comment
