Fantastic_Four Posted June 11, 2005 Share Posted June 11, 2005 Well, Team Fantastic Four enjoyed their very first Geocaching experience today. It turned out to be quite a success!! Due to predicted high temps and humidity in the Mid-Michigan area, we started out fairly early. Our first cache was located in a park not too far from where we live. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...d4-abcbf844ae12 This time around, the older brother naviagted with the GPSr and the younger brother used the compass once we were relatively close. Arriving at the waypoint, we fanned out and began to search. Within ten minutes, the youngest brother found it! And what a find! Not only was it a nice cache, but it also had a traveling cache inside it. Very cool for first timers! We filled out the log, left our swag, and took the travel cache with us as we made our way back home. On the way in and out, we picked up as much trash as we could. Excellent time! The whole family loved it and I can see why you folks get into this as much as you do. Cheers! Nick Quote Link to comment
