Download Loc Files To Ique M5

I'm a new geocacher. What software can I use to download LOC files to my iQue M5? I tried EasyGPS, but it did not have the M5 as an option. I don't mind paying for something if it's easy to use. I'm just hoping to find another M5 user who can vouch for the software working with this unit. THanks.

Did it come with Mapsoure? If that'll inport the loc files, it should output a waypoint file. I don't know, I've never seen an iQue and don't know anyone who uses one.

Since you are a premium member, I would suggest using pocket queries to generate GPX files. I use GSAK to open the GPX files and to sort the waypoints. GSAK also will export the waypoints into a file that Mapsource can open. Then simply transfer the maps and waypoints to the M5.

 

I got my M5 yesterday! I can't wait to use it caching. Hope this information helps.

No need for GSAK. MapSource can now directly import GPX files.

You may need to upgrade to the latest version. Upgrades to MapSource are always free. I'd avoid the Beta versions, since they will stop working after a while.
