HazelS
It really annoys me when TB's are labelled as "Not to be taken out of XX county" or the like (because they are linked to a cache) and then you find they are actually nealy 140 miles away in some other place!!!! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!! Quote Link to comment
Pieman
I hope to pick it up to return it to its rightful place next week- meetings permitting! Quote Link to comment
HazelS
Hi Pieman I take it you know which one I'm referring to??!!! Pengy and Tigger are dropping me the copy into the post, but I's just so infuriating!!!! Quote Link to comment
Pieman
I assumed it was A Gorgeous Wooden Lymm, which is of course one of P&T's. Having just checked it, it is actually 93.7km from my house (NE Cheshire) so I guess it is probably still just about within the allowed range. Quote Link to comment
HazelS
wow - is that all Mansfield is??? I thought it was a lot further, I lived with a guy at Uni from there, and it took hours to get to his!! Yeah - I guess it is still in limits, butonly just!!!!! Quote Link to comment

HazelS
Hee Hee... They said that they've had to send it out a few times!! I think Phill just needs a puzzle to keep him from going mad in work!!! ( Helsby 5K had him occupied for days!!) Quote Link to comment
Alibags
It helps if the TB has it's aims/rules attached to it. A completely different TB that I am aware of has accidentlaly left it's home county recently because it wasn't until it was taken home to log was that infrmation found out. I have been volunteered to return the TB to it's home as I am going that general way in the near future. If it's a choice between innocent mistake and malicious intent, I would incline to believe that it was the former. ps. don't scrutinise my profile to try to discover what the TB may be, as I don't currently have it. No names!! Quote Link to comment
Dallan72
It helps if the TB has it's aims/rules attached to it. Totally agree on this one. Also helps if they are together in a suitable plastic bag, particularly fluffy toys that tend to get rather smelly once they get damp. If I find a TB with its goals attached I can decide if I can help it or not. If there is nothing attached then I always just take it to move it on. Sometimes I find that I haven't helped it, or have even hindered it, but at least it gets moved on and gains a bug sheet and plastic bag from me to help the next finder. Quote Link to comment
