+scott9282
Not only working, but there was no charge. They said that they had updated the satellite almanac, and that was the problem. So far so good. They also included a case and belt clip in the box. Another user manual too, although I am one of those obsessive types that keeps owner's manuals for as long as I own a product. Sometimes longer. Dirtnapper
Well, almost a month...and still no return of my MeriPlat...my new paperweight. I sent another email, and just got an answer back today...they are still waiting for me to send $96! I have made several calls about returning this unit since I was not paying, and requested a supervisor to call me since each time they were not available...never got a call. I am under the impression from this, that the people with whom I spoke did not act on my request...for the return or the supervisor. Thales support, has failed... I must have been speaking to some real losers. Beware folks when thinking of buying one their units.... AND, also remember what they told me when I called - that if you do not turn the unit on at least once a month you too can expect a failure!! Maybe this is a gimmick, so they can get more suckers to shell out the $96 re-occuring revenue. Do not buy or support Thales - is the battle cry. Quote Link to comment
