+cache_test_dummies
EOM Hmm. Gc.com Down/slow? And in an effort to help keep the server load light, you've decided to submit only three character posts? OK! Link to comment

+caderoux
EOM EOM is short for End Of Message I only ask because I just posted a log, and then all of sudden it seemed to die - I'm not seeing anything else wrong with my connection here, and I didn't see any other posts or announcements of downtime. Jeremy
No. Everything looks fine. If it is here in the forums, occasionally there is a freeze as it backs up the millions of posts here. Link to comment
+caderoux
It was not here - only the main site, and the problem was persistent from just before the time of my original post, through my reply and a while thereafter. I returned after an hour and a half or so, and it was no longer happening. At one point there was a timeout error waiting for the database. Given the symptoms, it looked a lot like the db was tied up with something like backup or batch query operation which had locked a large number of records or a table. Link to comment
+Stuey
At one point there was a timeout error waiting for the database. I had exactly the same. Surprised no-one else noticed? The "My account" page eventually took me to a page where I could specify co-ords for a search, and it has done that several times before. I'll keep a log of times if that will be helpful?
