+wvhunter
I find myself in the common position of having a travel bug either missing or otherwise out of play. In my case I know the general location of my missing TB but need help/advice in getting it moving again. Name: Braise TB TB# TBB999 Viewed at: Braise TB webpage As you can see from the TB page it was placed in a cache called “Deep Blue”, apparently hidden by another four week wonder. This cache was never approved. I emailed the last bug holder but received a return email that the message could not be delivered. Any ideas as to how I can get this TB moving again? Thanx for you time. Edited March 16, 2005 by wvhunter Quote Link to comment
+ibycus
Have you tried contacting your local reviewer? Maybe they might be able to pass you the coordinates of the cache. At which point you could ask a local, well established cacher to retrieve your bug. I don't know though, will TPTB do this? I guess it depends on why the cache wasn't approved. In any case, unless it was a danger issue, the container should be removed from the site. Quote Link to comment
Keystone
Yes, we help out with rescues of bugs from caches that don't get listed. This cache was not listed because of the vacation cache/maintainable distance guidelines. Unfortunately there doesn't look to be a lot of other caches or active cachers in the same general area of rural Oklahoma. There have been two volunteers who have covered Oklahoma in recent months, and who can help you with the detective work: CO Admin (who archived the cache in question) or Reviewer Jones (who handles new cache reviews at present). Write to one of them, and good luck. Quote Link to comment
