Guest TeamDragon
Found a cache this weekend that was a rubbermaid container spray-painted black and contained ONE SUPER BALL. That's not a cache - that's litter. I feel the same way about caches filled with happy meal toys and used junk. Those are litter - not caches. Yeah, yeah, the fun is in the hunt and finding it, doesn't matter what is in it. But come on folks! Just say No to leaving junk in caches. Quote Link to comment
Guest Hush
Geocaching is about Geocaching, not just the hike, not just the hunt, not just the navigation, not just the treasure... It's the combination of all these things and more that make it an exciting activity/hobby. Caches with the focus on quality aspects of all the elements are what attracts most people to the activity/hobby, and this includes quality contents of the cache. Fast food toys are actually relatively expensive... you don't really get much nutrition for your money, it's loaded with saturated fat, salt, sugar, basically low quality ingredients that are not very healthy, and the toys are for the most part junk too. Don't just take and leave any item, put some thought into what is a fair trade, and what might be fun for the next visitor to the cache. Quote Link to comment
