+Bjorn74
I'm heading to Bloomington in the morning. Since I never seem to get any responces from the Indiana Forums, I thought I'd ask here if anyone's around there to say how the weather, ground conditions, and stuff is like right now. Like, is there still decent snow? Are caches mostly ok from any flooding? That sort of stuff. There still aren't a lot of hits on the caches I've looked at. Quote Link to comment
+2qwerqE
Well, I cached Yellowwood last weekend, and there was very little snow left, only in he places that never see the sun. It was nearly 60*, and very sweet. High water was not an issue, but the dirt roads were very muddy. Still I drive a Toyota Corolla, and was in no danger of getting stuck. If you haven't found them yet, check out these 2 very cool caches in Yellowwood, just east of B'ton. article Worth the hike, and a very nice backwoods hike it is. Quote Link to comment
+Bjorn74
I was thinking about doing those on Sunday. But it may be a good spot to take some new cachers tomorrow afternoon. Quote Link to comment

+Bjorn74
Well, I had miserable luck with the PC that I was going to load PQs with on Saturday, so we only found 3 of 8 or 9 we drove by or attempted. Luckily we did find "How did those get up there" after a tour of Yellowwood. Then Sunday's rain precluded finding more than 1. We were convinced that an abandoned mail truck was the cache at one of McCormick's Creek's caches that turned out to ban an offset. Next time, I'll bring my own equipment. Thanks for the suggestions, though. And I will email you next time Torry. Quote Link to comment
