+vds
I'm in town from next Friday PM to Sunday evening from Seattle and was interested in whether there are any recommended caches to go for near LAX. I seem to remember reading that there's one across from In+Out Burger that's going to be my first stop (need to try the legendary food and pick up the 2005 shirt) but otherwise don't have any plans yet. My custom query mapped onto Streets+Trips shows about 20 caches within a 4-mile radius of the airport. Having never been in LA before, should I to north or south from the airport for the more scenic or memorable caches ? Any 'must do' or 'must avoid' cache suggestions ? Link to comment
+ShowStop
The more scenic areas are near Marina Del Ray and Santa Monica north of the airport. Try these caches: Skipper The Heart of Venice A stroll down 3rd Street Dont Get Sucked in Pushing Tin LAX Link to comment
Mighty Tiggers
ShowStop, you are quite the responsive and helpful Geocacher! Thanks for your help. I'm traveling from Maryland and will be staying in Anaheim during the same period... http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=90071 Link to comment
