Fox Gap
This is my first time doing geocaching and I have a quick question. I have a old Lowrance GPS (1994?) and want to upgrade to a newer unit that works best in NJ and PA and is best for geocahing. Does anyone know a good unit for under $250? Quote Link to comment

Actually, your location has very little to do with which GPSr is best. In the price range you mention, I think most people would start by comparing the Garmin Legend and the Megellan SportTrac (I'm a Garmin person. I think the SportTrac is right). This is a pretty common question. You may want to search the site for "best", or browse back a page or two. Quote Link to comment

+mrking
You can pick up a Garmin GPSMap 60 for about $250 online. Quote Link to comment
