How Do I Log This

Everyone that finds the cache and signs the log can log it as a find. If a group goes out, and one of them says, "Hey! Here it is! I found it! I found it!" that certainly makes it easier for the rest of the group to find it.

Reasonable minds may differ, but I think this is the most common view.

We walk away when we find it. Usually you're sure where it is, and you walk away and wait for others to find it. Most of the time, most of us have a chance to actually find it.. We all log it.

Yeah, but it's frustrating when your partner is standing there laughing while you keep searching. :D

How would this work? Two people are on vacation, one is an experienced geo-cacher and the other has never heard of it. While on vacation the two people go out and find several caches. After the vacation is over, the new person gets signed up and gets started (that would be me - of course). Can I log those caches with a date prior to my start date? Or are they just considered.. practice?

First, thanks for searching the forum before posting.

Second, those vacation caches are finds. When you log them, just set the log date to the date that you were actually there, not the date you go on-line.
