+Coxy23
I am looking for help. I am getting a Magellan Meridian Gold for Christmas. I understand that Magellan makes 8, 16 and 32 MB SD cards available. I would rather have more memory and can buy a 256 MD card fairly cheaply but need to do it this weekend because of a local sale. Will the Meridian accept a 256 or is 32 the upper limit. I appreciate comments from those with more knowledge than I about this. Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment

+E = Mc2
In answer to the question: YES, it will accept the card. You may have to play around with map/region size, etc., but it will work. I'm using a 128 in mine. Check out the FAQ too, while you're at it. Quote Link to comment
+IV_Warrior
I use a 256 in mine. I haven't tried it yet, but I have heard that even the 1 GB cards work. Quote Link to comment
