+cyber6 Posted November 29, 2004 Share Posted November 29, 2004 salut a tout les geo une note pour vous signaler que les entrees de textes faites en francais ne devraient pas inclure les accents car le logiciel mobipocket les convertis en formats illisibles. donc, sur un palm,si on essaie d'avoir une description claire de la cache (surtout une multi) , on doit dabord essayer de dechiffrer ce que vous avez ecrit . s'il y a une autre solution qui m'echappe faites le moi savoir merci Quote Link to comment
+geoSquid Posted December 7, 2004 Share Posted December 7, 2004 (edited) I don't know how most people enter the accent characters for the pages, but if they're entering ALT characters (like ALT 130 for e accent aigue: é) it might not translate well to pocket queries and across devices (like when using mobipocket). In a cache description, accents should be entered as proper HTML: é for e accent aigue and so forth. If people aren't doing this, I'm not sure there's a good way to fix it.
