+Doombot! Posted November 2, 2004 Share Posted November 2, 2004 (edited) When I try to reinstall MapSource V5 on my XP machine (after a reformat), it throws up the little DemoSheild logo and stops. Neo_Geo Posted November 2, 2004 Share Posted November 2, 2004 Would this be a "backup" copy? Have you used this particular disk before? Any scratches, gouges or dirt on the surface of the data side? The HDD was reformatted... is everything else the same? Why was the disk reformatted? Any new hardware... like a CD-ROM drive maybe? What's different about this install from the last successful one (other than the formatted HDD)? Quote Link to comment
