Pocket Queries

I'm a premium member and I performed a pocket query. When I try to download it, I only get the option to download a .loc file. Am I doing something wrong?

When you set up the query, make sure you have it set as gpx format near the bottom of the query page. If this is done, you should receive it as gpx in your email.

Except for one exception, PQs are only acquired through email. You cannot "download" them.

 

What you are doing, I think, is checking off a bunch of caches and clicking the download button. That will only give you a .loc, no matter what.

 

If you set up a PQ (from the "My Page") you'll recieve a .gpx file in the form of an email attachment on the day you select to receive it.

 

The one exception I mentioned above is that each cache page has the option to download that cache as a .gpx. You can only do this one at a time, and only through that link on the cache page.

That explains it. Thanks. I was trying to download after doing the query. I got it now.
