+Krusers
Does anybody know of any map software that displays section boundaries. This would be the Township, Section and Range boundaries in the Cadastral surveying system in the western states. I live in Wyoming and want to know where private land is located versus public. Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment
+blindleader
Section boundaries show (with iffy accuracy) on USGS topo quads. So any of the products that use scans of USGS quads, like Delorme 3D Topo Quads, will have them. Edited October 24, 2004 by blindleader Quote Link to comment
Bobthearch
I use the BLM regional maps for finding public/private lands. Much of New Mexico is a random checkerboard of private, Forest Service, BLM, State, military, Indian, etc. I don't know of any software that shows property lines... +Alan2
Don't know if it has it but have you tried Tiger Maps part of the US government's census? http://tiger.census.gov/cgi-bin/mapsurfer Quote Link to comment

qman2
TIGER doesn't have Township, section, and range information. Some states have developed these layers and post them on their state GIS clearinghouses. If you want something for a specific state, check the state websites. You can start your search from here. http://libraries.mit.edu/gis/data/statecenter.html Quote Link to comment
