AuntGiGi
I am new to this. How do you get the coordinated into your GPS? I have no idea what I am doing. Any tips on how to get started and entering info for my 1st cache would be appreciated. I am good with electronics, but this one has stumped me! Thanks in advance! "Dream as if you'll live forever. Tahosa and Sons
Start with your owners manual. There should be a section on entering waypoints. Do some practice with the book and the real world and you should have it figured out in no time. Tahosa - Dweller of Mountain Tops. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
If you have the Legend, go to Mark Waypoint and enter (push down on click stick). Then page down to the coordinates, click on them and use the keypad that is displayed and your click stick to enter the new coordinates, then hit OK. You can also use the same method to change the default cache name (the default will start with 001) to something more meaningful to you. Most people use the GC# (waypoint ID) from the caches webpage. Or better yet, download EasyGPS from this website and just import them directly to your GPS. "Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day.
