+kingsting
My latest TB, "Our Boss Needs a Vacation" is an actual photo of him stuffed into a luggage tag. I want to get some photos of him as he makes his way around the world. Has anybody done anything like this? Before I turn him loose I would like to know if there are there any problems with using actual pictures of somebody as TBs? Quote Link to comment
+the hermit crabs
Our very first TB, Ramblin' Boy, was just that -- a little plastic figure with an empty place where the face goes; we put our nephew's picture in it and sent it off. Its goal is to have its picture taken doing fun stuff. (The first cacher to pick him up brought him on a trip to Bermuda and took some excellent pictures of him; unfortunately the second person to pick him up has been hanging onto him for months now.) +Divine
Two such TBs have gone via my hands: First was This is your life, Infosponge! with Infosponge's own picture in it. I based my first TB's mission on same principles, but was kind enough for the finders not to put my picture on it. The second was Cowboy Andrew, which has a touching story (and the picture) of a kid who passed away only 11 years old. Both of those have actual photos of real people, but they both are ok'd by the person in photo himself or his parents. I'm not certain if I'd put a picture of my boss traveling around the world without asking her. Maybe then, if the picture was already published in the internet or a magazine etc, so that it was public already. Edited August 26, 2004 by Divine Quote Link to comment
+ZackJones
Is you boss ok with the idea? If so go for it. My latest TB Andrew's Scouiting Trip is a laminated picture of my son Andrew. Zack Quote Link to comment
