+The Puzzler
Seeing a previous topic with a cute dog picture reminded me of a question I was thinking of a few days ago. Is there anyone out there that has a dog (or other animal for that matter) trained to really hunt out geocaches. I don't mean just a hunting companion, but a trained working animal that actually finds caches on a regular basis before the humans do? Quote Link to comment
+Crouching Hiker, Hidden Cache
Some of the female cachers might say their husbands are animals they trained to find the caches first. I don't know of any such trained animal, but I think a trained hunting squirrel would make a great caching companion. Micro in the woods? No problem! Quote Link to comment
+rusty_tlc
I have high hopes for Jake. The plan is to make his food dish out of an ammo can, water would be served in "Tupper" type containers. I'll keep you posted. Quote Link to comment
+Tiffany's Slaves
How about the reverse... I have trained my human slaves to find the caches although I will occasionally use my keen nose to lead the way. Quote Link to comment
