+Team Paubon
In one of our caches "Happy 16th Birthday Tommy" there is a travel bug logged in which has never been seen.......Little Bullseye has NEVER been seen in our cache, yet when I emailed the guy/gal who supposedly left it there, he says, yeah he did. I have emailed every finder since then and none have seen it or taken it. My question is what happens next? I really don't want the icon to show on the cache page when the travel bug is not there. (we are not talking about Movie Buff which IS there)...I have temporarily inactivated the cache during our local fair which ended tonight and I want to reactivate it, but without the invisible bug showing as being there. Any suggestions? Edited August 2, 2004 by BSM-MSN and Paul (Team Paubon) Quote Link to comment
+AuntieWeasel
Seems to me I read recently on the geocaching.com forum that the next rev of the site software would let cache owners remove TBs from their cache listing. Which would imply there's no such capability now. Try looking around that forum and see if you turn it up. Quote Link to comment
+ZackJones
You can remove the TB from the page now. It's a very simple process. Log into the web site, if you aren't already. Go to the cache page for the cache you own, and then click on the TB. You'll now see an option to report it missing (or something similar). Click that link and the TB will be removed from your listing. I wish more cache owners would do this. There's a couple of caches here locally that have TWO missing TB's listed and the owner is too lazy to update the listing Zack Quote Link to comment
