+GOT GPS? Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 (edited) OUCH Crazy four legged critters some years ago i had a bunch of stuff right under my bed including my wrist watch and an alarm clock. when I woke up every thing was chewed beyond use. Gotta keep the stuff up away from the critters in a box. Any pricey objects need to be kept out of reach. Edited July 10, 2004 by GOT GPS? Quote

+Insp Gadget Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 You know something? Murphy's Law is alive and well. I logged on this morning and had a chuckle about your antenna. I mean I felt for ya, but you gotta admit it was funny, right? Well this afternoon I looked at my brand new Yaesu VX-150 ham radio and noticed my cat had a good chew on my antenna. Teaches me right to have a good chucle at somenoe else's bad luck!!!! Quote
+GOT GPS? Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 Funny that animals think the antenna is for chewing on, maybe you need to coat the GPS or radio with something that stinks to keep the critters away, like rotten eggs or moth balls. Heres that radio mentioned in a previous post. Quote
