natesdenn
Hey everyone. I will be making a trip to Panama City Beach FL soon and was wondering if anyone knows of caches I could find along the way. I will be traveling on Interstate 65 south starting near Indianapolis. If anyone knows of caches rather close to 65, like at rest areas, I would be grateful for that info. All I need is a cache name so I can look it up. Thanks!!! Quote Link to comment
+ZackJones
One way to look for them is to go to the hide and seek cache page and search for I-65 in the keyword field. From there you can use the maps, etc to find caches near your route south. Zack Quote Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
The MTGC website lists all the rest stop or quick stop caches along I-65 from Indiana to Alabama. I found this resource quite useful during my recent trip to Nashville for Geo-Woodstock. Quote Link to comment
+joefrog
There are a few along your route, LOL -- check out Nashville for one "slight diversion" on your way. You'll be coming through Nashville, Decatur/Huntsville area, Cullman, Birmingham, Montgomery. ALL of them have quite a few to nab on your way! Some ZIP codes to search (in order of your trip through AL) would be: Huntsville -- 35801 Decatur -- 35601 Cullman -- 35055 Gardendale -- 35071 Fultondale -- 35068 Birmingham -- 35203 Pelham -- 35124 Clanton -- 35045 Montgomery -- 36101 Your best route will be down US231 from Montgomery to Dothan) Troy -- 36079 Ozark -- 36360 Dothan -- 36301 Enjoy your trip!
