+tirediron
Trying to make a decision... anyone have any suggestions why (besides the extra memory; not important) I should choose one over the other? It will be a primarily a 'caching unit. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+Tahoe Skier5000
Get the 76CS if: - Money is not a main concern - You prefer larger GPS's - You need a tide-table - You want to be slightly different from the rest Get the 60CS if: - You want to save a bit of money - You prefer a GPS that fits better in your hand - You are going for the ultimate well-rounded GPS - You want peace of mind that gobs of people here will take care of you if you have a problem with it Edited July 6, 2004 by vw_ev Quote Link to comment
+bdaniel
Get the 76CS if you had the 76 and already have a couple of auto mounts, external antenna, power/serial cord, etc. They still work for the 76CS. It seems they are basically the same unit in a different form factor and the 76CS has more memory. There is no right or wrong choice. It is simply which one better meets your needs and wants. +Team DEMP
If the memory isn't a concern, then the 60CS unless you have mounts, etc for the 76 form factor. For me, I want the extra memory for reasons stated at http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=74667 so when I get Amazon to give a good price (have a gift cert for Amazon) I'll be getting a 76CS.
