Can't seem to find the spot on their site where I can do what you memtioned: Put in the directions... get the coords.

This is a cool site I have been looking for a site for a while that you could just pop in address and get cords.--->To and from that is.

I believe what you are trying to say that this site will give you the coordinates of a street address, no? I.E. If I put in my home address, it will give me my "home" coordinates.

 

While this is a useful tool, there are other sites that do it as well. One thing however is that neither site displays the coordinates in the format we are most use to. These displayed coordinates can be converted by your GPS or a third party piece of software, such as DegMinSec. Also, while helpful, they are not perfect and can be off by quite a distance in some areas. Don't expect it to get you to the EXACT address, but at least in the ballpark.

 

Makes me wish hddd°mm.mmm was the standard for all location format.
