+Sparky of SoCal
I have already downloaded Mapsourse Roads&Recreation,US Western Parks and now I am tring to get US Topo into my computer. Is there a way to down load one region onto the hard drive and not have to use the disk.I am really not that good with a computer but I really don't give up easy.I am thinking that there is so much info on the disk it is made to work this way. +New England n00b
I have Mapsource Topo and I was able to do this. I copied each CD to a directory of the hard drive (for example: C:\programfiles\garmin\cd1, C:\programfiles\garmin\cd2, C:\programfiles\garmin\cd3). The I went to the cd directory where the setup file was and ran that from there rather than the CD. now it always looks at my hard drive for the files ratehr than the CD. Something similar may help you. BTW, any relation to Sparky Watts? Quote Link to comment
+Sparky of SoCal
I will try that route and see what I can get done.I am very weak on the computer so this could be a journey in itself. No relation-Shocking to say! Quote Link to comment
