I have my GPS plugged into my laptop,and they match up no problem. I have the option of National Geographic Topo,Mapsourse or DeLorme Topo loaded on the C drive.Everything is cool. National Geographic or DeLorme will track no problem. I have a downloaded Pocket Query downloaded to each software,things still good. I can see the caches on all (3) programs.Now because I am off line what hoop do I need to jump thru to be able to view the cache description .I have both a Colorado and a 550 and they can show me a description and 5 logs no problem.The answer has to be right under my nose.

Does anybody have any idea when Garmin is going to ship this product.I asked a few weeks ago and Garmin sent me a response that really did not answer the question but suggested I look elsewhere.

I went ahead and bought a RAM mount,it's great.Bought a 12v xUSB adapter and it goes straight to computer mode.Yes I have the 2.51 download.I knew this was not going to be easy.

Does the factory auto mount work as a window suction mount or not.It doesn't say in the remarks and I can't tell from the picture.RAM makes some sweet ones but you need a power cable to do it right and the only cord I see is with the factory mount.The unit is heavier than most so you will need the best mount if you use it off road.So what do you guys think?

I have a 400T that I screwed up and erased the unit map with just one little click.I called Garmin and I was suprised how helpful they were.First of all I was told I was not the first to do it.May be some updates will add something to warn you what your doing?He did not thing he could send the file that size to me,something to do with AOL.So I sent my unit back and they will send me a new one.I will save this units info to a disk to cover my stupid self in the future.Granted I have not received the new unit as of yet but if things go right Garmin in my hero.

I screwed up and with the aid of my trusted computer I deleted my Factory installed Topo map.Atleast my unit shows no map anymore and the options key shows none to choose from.Is there a way to reset this thing.I have a Topo 2008 that I loaded but it won't auto route on highways.B Looks like I'm the first dummy to do this.It was so easy I won't be the last.

Try going to the VEIW section and click on GPS Map Detail ,this might give you what you want.Buzz over to the Mapsourse website and download latest versions.The latest 6 somthing was a big change but if your new to it shouldn't confuse you.

With Topo 5 is it possible to creat a route over an existing river so I can milage and other things for a trip.I have tried following the help menu and been having a hard time.Maybe it can't be done and I'm wasting my time but if it can be done would somebody let me know and I'll give it hell!

I will try that route and see what I can get done.I am very weak on the computer so this could be a journey in itself. No relation-Shocking to say!

I have already downloaded Mapsourse Roads&Recreation,US Western Parks and now I am tring to get US Topo into my computer.Is there a way to down load one region onto the hard drive and not have to use the disk.I am really not that good with a computer but I really don't give up easy.I am thinking that there is so much info on the disk it is made to work this way.
