meko Posted May 9, 2004 Share Posted May 9, 2004 Have an older GPS III (not +). The map datum WGS 84 doesn't show many roads in Canada. Is this units mapping upgradable or do I have to live with what I've got? Don't know much about loading updated datum into this GPS, never done it before. Any tips, suggestions or comments? The Americas Land Basemap is a" built-in, permanent basemaps that cannot be altered" The good news is that it's a 12 parallel channel receiver much the same as units being sold now.
