+woodworkerjason Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 I'm using a Garmin 60c and was wondering if I can convert my trails to routes? When I load them into mapsource it looks like it should be an easy conversion but it doesn't have that option. Is there a way to do it? thanks for any help! -WWJ Quote
Vlad Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 no easy way to do this - why not save as a track? you can navigate a track as easily as a route. after loading them in mapsource clean them up a bit by double-clicking on the track - select the offending segments in the dialog box and then finally save them as a "track" with a defined name. your 60 can hold 20 saved tracks - as they can hold 500 points they could be up to twice as accurate as the best-case route (of 250 points max). you can move tracks back and forth to your pc via mapsource as required.
