+briansnat
Go to the cache page and click on the "log your visit" button in the upper right hand corner. Edited May 4, 2004 by briansnat Quote Link to comment
The Fish Guy
As an extension to this question, what is the proper way to log a repeat visit. I returned to a known cache to pick up a TB. Should I have selected "found it" again, or have just written a note? Does it matter? I wrote a note. Quote Link to comment
+New England n00b
I log a note when I go back and it isn't a find/dnf situation... Quote Link to comment
+SixDogTeam
You can't log a second "find" on the same cache. Quote Link to comment
+Geo Leo
You can't log a second "find" on the same cache. Actually, you can log an unlimited number of finds for the same cache, but it is generally considered acceptable to only log one find per cache, and log subsequent visits as notes. The exception would be some event caches that I have seen where the owner allows a find for each temporary cache found at the event. I have also seen caches that have been rehidden in a new location close to the original location where the owner will state that it is appropriate to log a new find if you find it in the new location. I'd rather see these archived and a new cache started, but it's not always done that way. When I first started, I logged a couple of caches as found more than once because I didn't know any better. I later went back and changed the subsequent finds to notes. Quote Link to comment
